A fantastic opportunity for a skilled and adaptable operative to join a high-performing property maintenance team. This role involves delivering multi-trade repairs across domestic and commercial properties, with a strong focus on first-time fix solutions, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement.
Your new role
You’ll be responsible for carrying out a wide range of maintenance tasks, delivering a first-time fix service, and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards. This is a customer-focused role requiring flexibility, initiative, and a commitment to excellence
- Carry out multi-skilled repairs across various trades (e.g., plumbing, joinery, plastering)
- Deliver first-time fix solutions with a value-driven approach
- Maintain van stock and procure materials efficiently
- Liaise with stakeholders to organise workload and meet service level agreements
- Support out-of-hours emergency service and flexible appointments
- Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation and safe working practices
- Recommend and contribute to service improvements that enhance customer experience
- Build strong working relationships with team leaders, colleagues, and stakeholders
- Promote a culture of high performance and continuous improvement
- Uphold company standards, policies, and the code of conduct at all times
- Take ownership of issues, identify risks, and ensure safe, effective resolutions
- Embrace personal development and adapt to evolving technologies and practices
- Health & safety qualifications relevant to the sector
- Asbestos awareness training
- Power tool and manual handling training
- COSHH & PPE awareness
- Training in access equipment and working at height (e.g., easi-deck, MEWPs)
- Experience using PDA/mobile working technology
- Sound knowledge of health & safety regulations and ACOPs (HASAWA 1974)
