Your New Role

As a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, you will report to the Maintenance Manager and play a pivotal role in maintaining our machinery and ensuring operational excellence.
This position offers an excellent chance to enhance your technical skills within a dynamic international organisation. Whilst on shift your core duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Perform planned maintenance, breakdown repairs, refurbishment, installation, improvements, and modifications to plant and services • Minimise downtime and maintain equipment in optimal condition.

What You'll Need To Succeed

In order to be considered for this role you will need to display the following skills, experience and qualifications:

Completed a recognised apprenticeship as a mechanical or mechatronic engineer, and preferably educated to HNC or equivalent level • Minimum of 2 years' post-apprenticeship experience in a manufacturing background • Proficient in the maintenance of mechanical systems: pneumatics, hydraulics, pumps, vacuum systems, mechanical drives / gearboxes • Experience in planned, preventative maintenance • Experience in fault diagnosis in mechanical systems and equipment • Preferred experience in equipment installation • Preferred experience in fabrication and pipe fitting • Preferred experience of predictive maintenance techniques, such as vibrational analysis.
