Hays Education Wirral are looking for Maths/ Numeracy specialist primary teachers who can support whole school interventions in Maths.

Your new role
As a Maths/ Numeracy intervention teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering sessions under the direction of the class teacher and subject lead. Working on a 1:1 or small group basis, you will support highlighted children and raise attainment in line with National Curriculum standards.
If you have a strength in Maths and are comfortable creating engaging, tailored sessions to suit the needs of the learner, then this is the ideal primary teaching job for you.
Hours can be flexible from school to school, and range from full days to half days depending on your availability and the school timetable.
What you'll need to succeed
To secure a Maths/ Numeracy Intervention Primary Teaching role you will need:
- QTS or equivalent qualification
- Experience of working with primary aged children within the last 3 years that we can reference
- A proven record of meeting standards and raising attainment in Numeracy
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to liaise with staff and then independently plan sessions that meet agreed criteria
