Maths Teacher Job – Leicestershire-based School
Start Date: May 2025 or ASAP
Location: Leicestershire
Timetable: Teach Maths at KS3 and KS4
Hays are in partnership with an Ofsted-rated ‘Good’ Academy located in Leicestershire. They are looking for a dedicated Maths Teacher to join their team. This role would be until the end of the academic year. This role is temporary with the opportunity to go permanent for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective mathematics lessons to students at KS3 and KS4, with the ability to teach KS5 being highly desirable.
- Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies to enhance student learning.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a supportive and stimulating learning environment.
- Participate in extracurricular activities and school events.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- A degree in Mathematics or a related field.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to continuous professional development.
