Teacher of Maths required now: Poulton-Le-Fylde, Blackpool

Hays education is delighted to be supporting a well-established academy school in the coastal town of Blackpool in the recruitment of an enthusiastic and dedicated teacher of Maths.

This is a long-term temporary position with competitive daily rates and weekly pay.

Your new role

  • Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons across KS3 and KS4, that support excellent progress.
  • Use assessment effectively to inform teaching and raise achievement.
  • Contribute to the collaborative development of the Maths curriculum.
  • Support the wider school through enrichment and pastoral care.
  • Inspire students to achieve their best, even in short-term placements.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualifications.
  • Strong subject knowledge and a commitment to high standards.
  • Someone who can build positive relationships and fosters a supportive classroom environment as well as classroom behavioural management.
  • Open to working across different subject areas and school settings.
  • The right to work in the UK with an enhanced DBS check, or willingness to obtain one.
