Teacher of Mathematics – September Start
We are delighted to be recruiting a motivated and passionate Teacher of Mathematics to join a thriving secondary school in the Solihull area from September on a fixed‑term basis. This opportunity is well‑suited to both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) looking to build strong classroom experience within a supportive environment.
The Role
The successful candidate will:
- Teach Mathematics across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 may be available depending on experience)
- Deliver engaging, inclusive, and well‑planned lessons that promote progress and confidence
- Use assessment data effectively to support and challenge learners
- Work collaboratively within a well-established and supportive Maths department
- Maintain high expectations of behaviour, attainment, and achievement
Person Specification
We are keen to hear from candidates who:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Have UK teaching experience (school placements accepted for ECTs)
- Possess strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for Mathematics
- Are reflective practitioners committed to continuous improvement
- Have excellent communication and classroom management skills
