This Secondary School based in North Birmingham, are looking for a Maths Teacher to join the Department. Receiving a "GOOD" in their latest OFSTED report, the School have very high expectations and share a determination to provide the very best for the students. As a result, students grow tremendously in confidence and are encouraged to see their potential, work hard and aim high.
Job Description:
- Delivering engaging and creative Maths Science lessons to students in Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Planning and preparing schemes of work, lesson plans, and assessments.
- Monitoring student progress and providing feedback.
- Contributing to the development of the department’s curriculum.
- Participating in extracurricular activities such as sports clubs and school trips.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. ECT's welcome to apply.
- Bachelor's degree in Maths or related field
- Recent experience teaching Maths at secondary school level.
- Strong behaviour/classroom management.
- Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers and staff members
