Manual Handler & FLT Driver required to work for a large pharmaceutical manufacturer.

Your new company

We’re looking for a Material Handler II to support our high-throughput manufacturing operations. You’ll be a key player in ensuring the smooth flow of materials for the production of cell culture media and reagents — helping us meet daily targets and maintain world-class standards.

Your new role

  • Carry out warehousing duties including goods receiving, inventory control, and material handling
  • Operate semi-automated and automated equipment safely and efficiently
  • Perform basic safety checks on mechanical equipment (Reach, Counterbalance, Forklifts)
  • Maintain compliance with GMP, SOPs, PPI processes, and 5S standards
  • Use Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); ERP experience is a plus
  • Prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Uphold housekeeping standards and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

What you'll need to succeed

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a high-throughput manufacturing or warehousing environment
  • FLT License
  • Strong communication skills and a proactive, accountable attitude
  • Grade 3 or better in Maths, English, and a Science subject (or relevant experience)
  • Passion for manufacturing and a drive to improve processes
  • Ability to work safely with chemicals and hazardous materials
  • Comfortable working in varied temperature zones (ambient, cold room, freezer)
  • Physically able to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for extended periods
