Your new company

Join a well-established and forward-thinking UK manufacturer that specialises in capital equipment and consumables for the packaging industry. Known for its engineering excellence and customer-first approach, the company serves a diverse client base across the UK and internationally. With ambitious growth plans and a strong commitment to innovation and service, this is an exciting opportunity to be part of a business that values long-term relationships and continuous improvement.

Your new role

As the UK Sales Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving sales across machinery, consumable tape, service-level agreements (SLAs), and contract spool winding. Reporting to the Customer Experience Director, you’ll manage the full sales cycle—from initial enquiry through to delivery and aftercare—while building and nurturing lasting customer relationships.

You’ll identify and develop key accounts, implement strategic sales initiatives, and ensure proactive engagement with clients through regular visits, virtual meetings, and exhibitions. You’ll also collaborate closely with internal teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences and support major SLA negotiations.

What you'll need to succeed

To thrive in this role, you’ll bring:

  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar sales role, ideally within manufacturing.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively.
  • A strategic mindset and a proactive approach to customer engagement.
  • Willingness to travel regularly within the UK and occasionally abroad.
  • Solid understanding of sales processes and CRM systems.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams.
You’ll be a self-starter with a passion for delivering results and enhancing customer satisfaction, ready to make a meaningful impact in a growing business.
