Manage digital team & customer-facing online channels in eCommerce; SEO, Loyalty & CRM

Your new company
My client are a fast-growing eCommerce business in the animal health sector, providing pet owners with trusted veterinary medicines and wellbeing products through a highly rated online platform. Due to maternity, we are partnering to recruit the exciting job of Senior Digital Marketing Manager on a 9-12 month contract to manage the Digital team responsible for customer-facing online channels for their eCommerce store - including Loyalty, CRM & Marketing automation, SEO, Content, & Data Analytics. This is a full time, contract position working 3 days per week from their offices in Greater Bristol.

Your new role
As Senior Digital Marketing Manager, you will head up a talented team and support them with both strategy and operational guidance. You will be working in a very fast-paced e-commerce business where the team has a majority focus on the on-site customer journey and Retention/Loyalty activations, as well as working very closely with the Acquisition channels. You will be strategically developing a new loyalty programme, and shaping customer journeys based on behaviour and segmentation to personalise experiences on-site. As part of the SLT, you will operate in a hands-on leadership role, balancing strategy with delivery and driving the team to achieve measurable success across their channels.

What you'll need to succeed
You will need experience in an e-commerce business, comfortable with the DTC journey and driving the success of a transactional website. Experience of e-commerce trading and operations is advantageous, but not a pre-requisite as another team handles the day-to-day operations of the site. Instead, your expertise will be in the engagement of customers across the e-commerce customer journey, from SEO to Loyalty/Retention campaigns utilising Marketing Automation. You will have a broad experience across these channels, able to drive the execution of the team and get hands-on where required. You will have strong leadership and team management skills, and have operated as part of an SLT with solid stakeholder relationship skills. You'll be able to demonstrate an ability to work at pace, both creating strategy and driving growth through delivery.

What you'll get in return
You'll receive a salary of up to £65,000 (depending on experience) and a benefits package including 26 days' holiday + bank holidays, pension scheme, product discounts and enhanced family-friendly policies (salary and benefits will be pro rata if the contract runs for less than 12 months). You will work hybrid, spending 3 days a week at their offices in Greater Bristol, and be given the ability to work flexibly to meet the needs of the team and business. This is a great opportunity to join a strong brand during a period of positive change and growth.
