Hays are representing a leading construction company to recruit a Marketing Manager in Portadown.

Your new role

As Marketing & Sales Manager, you will report directly to the General Manager and take full ownership of leading a dynamic team of sales professionals. Your mission will be to drive revenue growth, enhance customer satisfaction, and ensure operational excellence across sales, estimating, and marketing functions.
You’ll be responsible for:
  • Leading and mentoring the sales team to exceed targets and deliver exceptional service.
  • Overseeing the accuracy and efficiency of all quoting and estimating processes.
  • Collaborating with operations to align sales strategies with capacity and margin goals.
  • Developing and executing a comprehensive marketing plan, including digital content and social media.
  • Analysing market trends and competitor activity to inform strategic decisions.
  • Presenting monthly performance reports to the board.
  • Ensuring brand consistency across all communications and materials.
  • Fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous development.

What you'll need to succeed

  • A qualification in sales or marketing (desirable)
  • At least 5 years’ experience in a leadership role within sales and/or marketing.
  • A background in manufacturing or construction is advantageous, though not essential.
  • Strong experience with CRM tools.
  • Excellent commercial acumen and data-driven decision-making skills.
  • A hands-on leadership style with a passion for developing people.
  • Outstanding communication and negotiation skills.
