Demand Generation Marketing Executive, £50,000 (£70,000 OTE), Cardiff (Hybrid), TravelTech, Immediate Start!

Our client, a leading Travel Platform that helps industry professionals to simplify operations and boost growth, are looking to recruit a Demand Generation Marketing Executive to work closely alongside both their Sales and Marketing functions. Working on a hybrid basis (2/3 days a week in the Cardiff office with the remainder from home) and with an incredible opportunity to grow/develop as the company continues to scale, this is an amazing role for the right candidate!

Our client have been established for just over 30 years and, in that time, have helped a wide range of Travel professionals to centralise their customer data, generate leads and streamline workflows. Due to an internal restructure brought on by natural growth, they are now seeking the perfect candidate to target customers for their platform. In a nutshell, your responsibilities will include:

- Sourcing data, creating campaigns and executing strategies to nurture prospects and develop qualified B2B leads for sales pipeline
- Developing and owning the company's demand generation strategy & roadmap to meet strategic goals
- Using data, research and market insight to segment market data to support hyper-targeted outbound marketing (to fuel lead pipeline)
- Reporting on key demand metrics and optimising outbound campaigns to improve performance and ROI
- Establishing and maintaining a qualified lead pipeline for the new business sales team to allow them to quickly move on through the sales process
- Proactively identify and pursue high-potential prospects to feed directly into the new business pipeline
- Building out strategies and techniques to keep leads warm, engaged and interacting whilst they are in the early pipeline stage process
- Aligning company content, messaging and campaign activity to remain ‘on brand’ and make it resonate with exactly what the company's target customers want
- Creating, managing and/or commission-powerful campaign content across digital and conventional channels – managing in-house or external resources as needed
- Owning the success of key trade events (Conferences, exhibitions, seminars, webinars, etc) to make sure they deliver lead generation goals
- Taking responsibility for digital marketing channels and improving their effectiveness at generating leads by improving website, social media, paid and organic search activity

*It is important to emphasise that there is absolutely no cold-calling in this role!*

In order to be considered for this role, it is ESSENTIAL that you have the following:

- Minimum of 3 years' demonstrated business to business lead generation or demand generation
- A true digital native - at home online and on socials!
- First-hand experience of digital marketing to drive upper-funnel marketing activities
- Passion for data and analytics
- Comfortable with targets and a clear desire to continuously improve through results-driven and evidence-based assessment of performance
- Fantastic communication skills - comfortable at creating own content that aligns with the expectations of the target customer
- Aptitude to assume more responsibilities over time
- High proficiency in CRM (HubSpot experience a bonus but not essential) and using it to manage lead pipelines, campaigns and deliver reporting and automation
- A willingness to contribute to the continuous improvement of sales systems, processes and tooling

In addition to a very competitive basic salary, our client are also offering the following:

- Expected OTE up to £20,000 (40%) - commission(s) paid monthly
- Hybrid-working model (2/3 days a week in the Cardiff office, remainder working from home)
- Up to 30 days annual leave (plus bank holidays) and ability to buy/ sell holiday days with access to paid sabbaticals
