Your new company
A service-based company in South Manchester is seeking a hand‑on Management Accountant to support their growing finance team.
Your new role
You will be responsible for producing monthly management accounts, including the P&L, balance sheet, reconciliations, accruals and prepayments, while also supporting the team with daily accounting duties and providing clear, insightful analysis to non‑finance colleagues. Alongside your reporting responsibilities, you’ll play an active role in the day‑to‑day running of the finance function — posting journals, resolving queries and helping drive process improvements — making this a varied and visible role within the business.
What you'll need to succeed
With a strong track record in management accounting, ideally gained within a serviced-based environment. You’ll combine strong technical accounting skills (be in later stages of ACCA/CIMA looking to qualify within the year) with a commercial, business‑partnering mindset, and feel confident communicating financial information to stakeholders. A proactive, hands‑on approach is essential, along with solid Excel skills and a willingness to support the wider team across both routine and more complex tasks.
