Part Qualified Management Accountant based in Manchester with Hybrid Working | £38-44K DOE

Your new company

Our client is an not for profit business based in Manchester is looking for a motivate and hungry Part Qualified Management Accountant to join their team.

Your new role

As the Management Accountant, you will play a key role in supporting financial decision-making across your department. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborating with stakeholders to manage financial planning, budgeting, and forecast processes, consolidating results, and engaging with budget holders as needed.

  • Preparing and reviewing monthly management accounts, delivering insightful financial analysis and reporting within tight deadlines.

  • Supporting the financial evaluation and costing of new and existing business initiatives and development plans.

  • Identifying and implementing opportunities to enhance financial procedures and ensure they effectively support business operations.

  • Producing monthly and ad hoc financial reports, ensuring timely distribution to relevant budget holders and facilitating appropriate follow-up actions.

  • Ensuring timely completion of financial reconciliations in line with organisational requirements.

  • Overseeing the preparation and posting of journal entries.

What you'll need to succeed

You will bring:

  • Actively working towards a recognised professional accounting qualification (e.g. CIMA, ACCA, ACA) or equivalent relevant experience.

  • Proven experience in a finance role within a large, complex organisation, demonstrating a collaborative and proactive approach across departments.

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial systems.

  • The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels, both verbally and in writing.

What you'll get in return

A competitive salary of £38,000 - £43,000 per annum, depending on experience, good pension scheme and annual leave, hybrid working and supportive working environment and a range of learning and development opportunities.
