Remote Permanent Management Accountant required for a leading Technology company

Your new company Hays has an exciting new opportunity to work for a leading international technology business specialising in secure identification and data solutions. Forward-thinking company committed to innovation and efficiency. As they continue to grow, they are a Management Accountant to join the team and play a pivotal role in shaping the way we use data to drive informed decision-making.

Your new role
  • Publish and develop business reporting to support timely, informed decisions.
  • Own and manage the month-end, year-end, and budget processes.
  • Create and maintain operational KPI reporting packs.
  • Identify and deliver process improvement opportunities using data-driven insights.
  • Partner with management and IT to design and integrate reporting systems.
  • Provide finance support for system implementations and audit requirements.
  • Deliver daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting cadence.
  • Produce ad hoc reporting meeting evolving business needs.

What you'll need to succeed
  • Essential: Financial accounting degree and/or ACCA/ACA/CIMA accreditation.
  • Strong systems knowledge and advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, dashboards, formulas).
  • Ability to work under pressure, with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical skills and confidence in decision-making.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills — able to engage at all levels.
  • Team player with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
    • Cost accounting experience.
    • Experience supporting external audits.
