Your new role
As a Management Accountant, you’ll take ownership of financial processes for various projects. This includes preparing and explaining management information (MI), delivering accurate month-end reporting, managing budgets and forecasts, and providing insightful variance analysis. You’ll work closely with operational managers and project teams to ensure projects are delivered within approved spend, while also supporting reporting and audits. This is a hands-on role that combines traditional management accounting responsibilities with the unique challenges of project accounting.
What you'll need to succeed
- Strong management accounting experience, ideally with exposure to project accounting.
- Excellent communication skills to confidently engage with senior managers and operational teams.
- Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with financial systems.
- Ability to analyse complex data and provide clear, insightful commentary.
- Part-qualified accountant or equivalent experience.
