Your new role
Reporting to the Northern Ireland Financial Controller, you will be responsible for the full management accounting cycle, including monthly, quarterly, and annual accounts preparation under IFRS. Your responsibilities will include detailed variance analysis and commentary, gross margin analysis, weekly forecasting, annual budgeting, and managing local projects or new initiatives. You will support the implementation of a new finance system, streamline existing group processes, and prepare annual statutory accounts. Additionally, you will provide financial analysis to the Managing Director, complete intercompany and tax reconciliations, maintain the fixed asset register, and ensure accurate reconciliation of AP and AR to the general ledger. You will also act as a key liaison for group reporting teams and internal/external auditors.

What you'll need to succeed
- Ideally a fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent), though applicants with substantial accounting experience will also be considered
- Strong technical accounting knowledge, particularly IFRS experience an advantage
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to present financial information clearly
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to adapt quickly to new systems and technologies
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to manage tight deadlines and work both independently and as part of a team
