Your new role
We are looking for a skilled Maintenance Operative to join our Facilities Management team on-site. You will play a key role in ensuring the building fabric and associated services are maintained to the highest standards.
We are looking for a skilled Maintenance Operative to join our Facilities Management team on-site. You will play a key role in ensuring the building fabric and associated services are maintained to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out planned, preventative, and reactive maintenance of building fabric.
- Perform basic plumbing and maintenance person duties as required.
- Minor carpentry/joinery and painting/decorating tasks.
- Escort subcontractors when necessary.
- Support the wider FM team with tasks to meet contracted KPIs.
- Raise Health & Safety observations and adhere to company HSE policies.
- Complete mandatory e-learning and training for safe working.
- Be available for out-of-hours work (additional remuneration provided).
- Undertake additional duties within capability as required.
What you’ll need to succeed:
- Previous experience in building maintenance or a similar role.
- Basic plumbing and carpentry skills.
- Strong awareness of Health & Safety procedures.
- Flexible approach and ability to work outside normal hours when required.
