Your new company is a large, national company that is a market leader in the sustainable recycling and renewable energy sector. Due to continued growth and site expansion, they are looking to add another head to their maintenance team, on a days based shift pattern.

Your new role is a days based maintenance technician, working Monday - Friday, 08:00 - 17:00.

Some details of the role requirements:
- Perform all duties to high Health and Safety standards
- Ensure that all machinery and services are routinely maintained in line with operational requirements
- Provide both Mechanical and Electrical support across the site
- Quickly respond to machine and system failures to reduce downtime
- Communicate maintenance progress updates to colleagues

- An engineering qualification, ideally apprentice trained with an HNC/NVQ or similar

- Maintenance experience, ideally within the chemical, renewable energy, FMCG or oil and gas industries

- Experience with ATEX equipment and working in hazardous plants

- A good understanding of maintenance processes and activities

- Knowledge of maintenance management systems
