A temporary Facilities Assistant job based in Birmingham City Centre

Your new company

Hays are delighted to be supporting our client in recruiting a number of Facilities Assistants at their Birmingham City Centre site, to join their team for an initial 12-week assignment.


Your new role

Your new role as a Facilities Assistant will see you carry out varied tasks on both a planned and reactive basis, which could include:

  • Moving furniture and items across site.

  • Preparing meeting rooms for business use.

  • Minor maintenance including changing lightbulbs, topping-up of items in restrooms etc.

  • Delivering items across site.

  • Minor repairs to site equipment.

This role is a Monday to Friday position, on a weekly rotational shift pattern of 7am - 3pm, and 10am - 6pm.


What you'll need to succeed

In order to succeed in this role you will possess experience in a similar, labour-intense role that requires you to be up-and-about, and on your feet each day. You will have a good work ethic, happy to step in and work hard throughout the day, under direction but with limited supervision. You will be required to be in Birmingham City Centre 5 days per week.

What you'll get in return

In return you will receive an hourly rate of between £15 - £16 per hour during this 12-week assignment.
