A well- established Retailer requires an IT Manager.

Your new company

Our client is a dynamic, multi-sector group with a strong presence across the UK and Ireland, operating in both retail and hospitality. With a growing portfolio of locations and projects, they are driven by innovation, teamwork, and a commitment to delivering exceptional experiences—both for their customers and their people.
Your Role
As Group IT Service Manager, you’ll lead the delivery of IT support across a diverse network of sites—from head office to retail branches and a major leisure resort. This is a hands-on, high-impact role where you’ll manage the service desk, oversee infrastructure, and ensure seamless operations across the group. You’ll be the escalation point for complex issues, drive IT strategy, and play a key role in major projects including system upgrades, migrations, and new site setups.

What You Need to Succeed
You’ll bring a strong foundation in IT infrastructure and service management, with at least five years of commercial experience and two in a leadership role. You’ll be confident managing distributed systems and teams, and have deep technical knowledge across:
  • Microsoft environments including Windows 10/11, Server 2008–2019, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365/Azure
  • Networking fundamentals such as DNS, routing, VPNs, and firewall management
  • EPOS systems, eCommerce platforms, and retail technologies
  • Data backup systems, and cloud storage solutions
  • IP telephony, mobile device management, and CCTV/audio systems
  • Office 365 administration and user support
  • Hands-on hardware setup and troubleshooting, including store refits and cabling
  • IT security, patching, and compliance best practices
You’ll also be experienced in supplier and contract management, budgeting, and reporting to senior stakeholders.
A full clean driving licence and flexibility to travel and work outside hours are essential.

What You Will Get in Return
You’ll earn a competitive salary depending on experience, plus a range of benefits including a company laptop and mobile, use of a company vehicle, generous staff discounts, pension scheme, and regular team events. You’ll be part of a supportive, fast-paced environment where your work makes a real difference—and where your growth is just as important as theirs.
