The business has undergone significant transformation in recent years and continues to progress several exciting developments, including a major regeneration project.

Your new role

You will support the General Counsel in delivering comprehensive legal advice across a wide range of areas, including real estate, construction, planning, environmental, finance, and corporate law. You will be handling:
  • Drafting and negotiating construction contracts
  • Company and corporate law matters, including some company secretarial responsibilities
  • Managing external legal counsel
  • Commercial, consumer, IP, and dispute resolution matters
  • Governance, data protection, and audit support
Working independently within a lean legal team, this role presents the opportunity to play a key role in a growing organisation.

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role, you’ll need to be a qualified solicitor or barrister with significant experience (at least 5 years' PQE). Experience in the real estate, construction, or infrastructure industries is essential; in-house experience would be highly beneficial. This role requires someone with highly developed people and communication skills, independence, discretion, and a proactive mindset.
The successful candidate may also have:
  • Experience in company secretarial matters
  • Compliance experience (including data protection, insurance, and anti-money laundering/bribery) and exposure to liaising with external financiers, legal counsel, and regulatory bodies

What you'll get in return

  • A competitive salary in the range of £100k–£110k
  • Hybrid working (3 days in the office)
  • The opportunity to work on high-profile London development projects
  • A collaborative and non-hierarchical working culture
  • Exposure to a business undergoing strategic transformation
