We are working with a number of Liverpool primary schools seeking KS1 Learning Support Assistants to support pupils in Years 1 and 2.
Key responsibilities:
- Supporting pupils 1:1 and in small groups
- Assisting with phonics, reading, writing and numeracy
- Supporting pupils with behaviour, engagement and emotional needs
- Working closely with class teachers and SEN staff
- Helping to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience working in KS1 or primary school settings
- A proactive, patient and supportive approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A relevant LSA / TA qualification (desirable)
- An enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)
