Your new school
This Bristol Primary school is in search of a warm, enthusiastic individual to take on a Learning Support Assistant role at their school. Working full-time all throughout the school in different classrooms, this role requires you to be flexible and pick things up quickly about the different children. You will be working in a team with other Learning Support Assistants and Teaching Assistants that are extremely welcoming and helpful. This BS13 school is located along a public transport bus route and, alternatively, has a car park on site.
Your new role
This Learning Support Assistant role will be challenging, nevertheless rewarding. As you will be a general aid to all classes and, subsequently, teachers, throughout this primary school. The role involves taking children out of lessons to conduct small-group work, mentoring young individuals. You will be working with the Year one class all the way up to Year 6, meaning a range of ages and different methods that will work best with these children.
Requirements to succeed in your new role
- Teaching assistant experience within the last two years
- Two working references from your two most recent jobs that apply some relevance to this position
- Previous experience with young (age 4-6) children is desirable
