Contract: Full-time, Fixed Term until July 2026 (with possibility of permanent contract)
Salary: Scale 3 (Points 5–6) £31,086–£31,530 pro rata
Start date: January 2026
Your new role
This Primary School is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant (Scale 3) to join their team on a maternity cover basis. This is a full-time, term-time only role, supporting
pupils, teachers, and the wider school community to raise standards of achievement and ensure inclusion across all aspects of school life.
You will work 34 hours per week:
•Monday–Thursday: 8.30am–4.30pm
•Friday: 8.30am–3.30pm
What you’ll need to succeed
We are looking for someone who can say “YES” to the following:
•Enjoys working with children and has experience supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
•Is a graduate aspiring to train as a teacher
•Is ICT proficient, confident using Word and Publisher
•Flexible, hardworking, and passionate about education
•Able to work effectively as part of a team
•Resilient and adaptable in a busy school environment
