Learning Support Assistant Needed for KS1 role in Primary school in Wirral
Your new company
Hays are delighted to support a primary school in the Wirral area with their recruitment of a Learning Support Assistant. This school is looking for someone to work full time until the end of the school year, with a possible extension for the next academic year. You will be employed via Hays on a long term contract.
Your new role
You will be supporting children as a learning support assistant. You will be supporting with day to day learning, managing triggers / behaviours and supporting small groups sessions. You may be required to work with the children outside of the class when needs be and think about creative ways to help them engage if the classroom setting becomes too difficult. You will work under the direction of the teacher and SENDCO.
What you'll need to succeed
You must have previous experience as a learning support assistant, ideally supporting children with SEN. You will be available to wok full time and will ideally hold a TA qualification of at least level 2.
