Teaching Assistant (SEMH School – Preston) - September Start
Are you passionate about supporting young learners in an inclusive environment? We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a Special Educational Needs and Mental Health (SEMH) school in Preston. The role is to start in September, on going until a permanent appointment has been made.
The Role:
- Work closely with the class teacher to support students in a small class setting (up to 12 pupils)
- Provide tailored assistance to children with SEMH needs, fostering a supportive and engaging learning environment
- Engage students in academic and social development through individualised and group-based support
- Help maintain a positive classroom atmosphere that encourages learning and emotional well-being

Ideal Candidate:
- Previous experience working in an SEMH or SEN school is desirable.
