As a Learning and Development Contractor, you’ll be joining a well-established, purpose-driven organisation with a strong focus on developing its people and building organisational capability. Operating within the L&D and OD team, the organisation places real value on learning, talent development, and continuous improvement. This is initially a 3 months temporary role to be based in Brighton but with only a requirement to be in the office once a week.

- As a Learning & Development Contractor, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and delivering targeted learning and talent interventions.
You’ll work closely with stakeholders to diagnose business needs and translate these into practical, outcome-focused solutions. - Your responsibilities will include delivering workshops and blended learning programmes, supporting talent and leadership development initiatives, and coordinating end-to-end programme execution.
- You’ll manage multiple initiatives, engage with senior stakeholders, and ensure delivery is both high-quality and aligned to organisational priorities.
- You will also gather feedback and insights to evaluate effectiveness, making recommendations to continuously improve learning impact.
TO SUCCEED
You will bring proven experience delivering L&D or talent development initiatives within a corporate environment, along with strong skills in learning needs analysis and programme design.

- You’ll be confident engaging and influencing senior stakeholders, with excellent communication and facilitation abilities. A proactive, delivery-focused mindset is essential, as is the ability to operate autonomously and pick up programmes quickly with minimal onboarding.
- Strong organisational skills, stakeholder management capabilities, and a collaborative approach will be key to your success.
