Your new role
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Learning and Development Consultant to join the Organisation Development and Learning team on a temporary basis until Jan 2026. This post is within an established team and the contract is offered on a hybrid working pattern.

As a Learning and Development (L&D) Consultant, you will provide high-quality L&D advice, guidance, and support across the Council. Working within a supportive team, you'll help shape and deliver impactful learning interventions, build lasting relationships with stakeholders, and contribute to the Council's vision.

What you'll need to succeed
  • CIPD qualification or equivalent HR/L&D experience
  • Strong project management skills and strategic thinking
  • Proven ability to design and implement learning solutions
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Microsoft 365 skills, particularly Excel to produce reports
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems
  • Experience working within an allocated budget
