Senior Property Lawyer - Interim Role

Your new company
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established public sector legal team, known for its collaborative culture and commitment to delivering high-quality legal services. The team plays a key role in supporting housing growth and property development initiatives, with a strong emphasis on governance and compliance.

Your new role
As a Senior Property Lawyer, you’ll manage a varied caseload that includes residential and commercial sales and purchases, landlord and tenant matters, and online auction disposals. You’ll also advise on housing growth projects, including options agreements with registered providers, and contribute to strategic discussions at board level. A key part of your role will involve supporting governance processes, such as drafting cabinet reports and ensuring compliance with statutory provisions like Section 123 of the Local Government Act 1972.

What you'll need to succeed
A minimum of 5 years PQE, with broader experience highly desirable. Strong property law expertise across both residential and commercial sectors and a solid understanding of public sector governance and legal frameworks. Experience working with registered providers and local authorities. Confidence working independently and managing a diverse caseload remotely.

What you'll get in return
A flexible locum contract with a hybrid working structure of 4 days working from home. The opportunity to work on high-impact projects that shape local communities. A supportive and knowledgeable team environment where your expertise will be valued.
