Maintenance Assistant/ Labourer

Your new company

You will be working on behalf of a local leading university for a nationwide maintenance company at Lancaster University.

Your new role

You will be in the maintenance team where you will be assisting with light duties such as patch painting, installing shower curtains, removing mattresses, chairs etc. You will work alongside their employed trades/ handypeople who you each work one-on-one with throughout the living quarters of the university, making sure all daily duties are completed to a high standard and are ready for when the students are to return. Working huts will be 8.30am–5pm Monday to Friday,

What you'll need to succeed

You will need to have experience of working in a maintenance setting previously, be reliable, enthusiastic and consistent with your timekeeping and work ethic. Ideally, you will live close to Lancaster.

What you'll get in return

You will receive 16 weeks of work, weekly pay, and the possible opportunity to be taken on full-time after that time/ asked back each year for seasonal work.
