Your new role
Key responsibilities and outcomes include but are not limited to:
- Deliver high standards of work, relevant joinery
- Carry out secondary trade activities (Multi) within acceptable quality standards to support KPIs for a first time fix
- Provide outstanding customer service and contribute to achieving operational performance targets.
- Accurately record and report operational activities following company and legislative procedures.
- Assess risks before work and follow strict Health and Safety measures to protect yourself, customers, and colleagues.
- Maintain the condition and appearance of the company vehicle to meet regulatory and company standards.
- Keep accurate van stock records to ensure materials are well-stocked.
- Ensure all tools, equipment, and plant machinery are maintained, certificated, and defects reported promptly.
- Follow safeguarding procedures carefully, identifying and reporting any concerns related to customer safety.
Key Outcomes:
- Comply with legislation, company policies, and procedures.
- Consistently delivers high-quality services aligned with customer service standards.
- Accurate and timely reporting of near misses and RIDDOR accidents.
- Meeting or exceeding Guinness Property KPIs for first-time fix repairs.
- Achieving key performance and productivity goals.
- Increased customer satisfaction through reliable and professional service delivery.
- Effective collaboration with colleagues and external partners to resolve operational challenges.
- Completion of works within budget and business requirements.
- Proper identification, documentation, and referral of safeguarding concerns to Tenancy Enforcement.
Hours: Full-time: Mon-thurs: 8-4.30pm/ Fri: 8-3.30pm
Salary: £36,838 per annum
What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate must hold an NVQ Level 3 (City& Guilds) in Joinery and have at least 2 years' experience in this trade. You must also hold competence in an additional trade.
All candidates are subject to full referencing and a Basic DBS if successful.Essential for this role:
- Confidentally demonstrate competency within the joinery trade
- Strong communication
- Hold various multi-trade skills and experience, sufficient to complete repairs, first time fix
- Proven ability to work methodically, follow agreed procedures and accurately record data and information.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and demonstrate organisational and time-management skills
- Ability to make decisions and solve problems, seeking any advice required.
- Ability to carry out physical tasks and lift weights in accordance with Health and Safety guidelines
- Ability to operate safely having taken into account any environmental circumstances and possible risks.
- Experience of working within the social housing sector
