Experienced Carpenter (Chippy) – Bassingbourn
Location: Bassingbourn, Royston
Start Date: Immediate
Duration: 3 months with possibility of extension
Rate: £24-£25 Umbrella PAYE

We’re currently recruiting for experienced carpenters to work on a refurbishment project of MOD houses in Bassingbourn. This is a great opportunity to be part of a long-term project with consistent work.
Role Requirements:
- Proven experience in 1st and 2nd fix carpentry
- Confident working independently and as part of a team
- Ability to read and interpret drawings
- Own tools and PPE
- CSCS card (preferred)
Duties Include:
- 1st fix: stud walls, door frames, flooring
- 2nd fix: hanging doors, skirting, architraves, kitchen fitting
- Working to high standards on a live MOD site
What We’re Looking For:
- Reliable and skilled tradespeople
- Strong attention to detail
- Previous experience on MOD or refurbishment projects is a bonus.
