Job Overview:
The Refresh Clinic Migration Operative supports the successful delivery of a large‑scale device refresh and migration programme. Working under the direction of the Contractor Engineer and Site Manager, the role involves preparing, refreshing, distributing, and collecting devices in line with the project’s migration schedule and operational processes. Accuracy, professionalism, and adherence to security and workflow procedures are essential.

Accuracy, professionalism, and adherence to security and workflow procedures are essential.
Location: Scotton Road – Catterick Garrison
Daily Rate: £19.85/hr – PAYE, £25.77/hr – UMB
Contract Length: 02nd March 2026 till 31st March 2026
Key Responsibilities
Clinic & Migration Set‑Up
- Assist with the setup of the Refresh Clinic in accordance with project requirements.
- Move the required quantity of devices from onsite storage to the Refresh Clinic as instructed by the Contractor Engineer and Site Manager.
- Ensure all equipment and materials are organised, secure, and ready for daily migration activity.
Device Refresh & User Support
- Log in to systems as required using devices provided by the Contractor Engineer and Site Manager, following their instructions.
- Refresh laptops and prepare new devices for deployment.
- Collect existing devices from users and issue new devices in line with the migration schedule.
- Ensure the correct number of devices is handed over and collected each day.
Workflow & Reporting
- Accurately update the Contractor’s workflow management system at every relevant step of the migration process.
- Report issues promptly and clearly to the Contractor Engineer and Site Manager.
- Escalate unresolved issues to the onsite Post‑Migration Support Engineer.
Stock & Asset Management
- Conduct daily manual stock checks and report findings to the Contractor Engineer and Site Manager.
- Package collected devices using the original packaging from the new device.
- Apply the correct Designation Rules to mark each box for “Disposal” or “Refurbishment”.
Key Requirements
- Active SC Clearance (mandatory).
- Experience in device deployment, IT refresh projects, or similar operational roles (desirable).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured processes.
- Good communication skills and confidence in interacting with end users.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and manage daily targets.
- Reliable, organised, and able to work under supervision.
