IT Support Technician
Join a leading independent technology and services provider as an IT Support Technician!
Job Overview:
This role involves supporting a monitor refresh project at the customer site by handling the end‑to‑end process of receiving, preparing, installing, and reporting on new monitor deployments. The Tech1 engineer will manage incoming equipment, transport hardware across the site, replace old monitors with new ones, ensure all installations are correctly set up with stands or monitor arms, and dispose of waste safely.
Rate
£17.72/Hr through UMB
£13.66/Hr through basic PAYE
£15.51/Hr through Premium PAYE
Location
London - Colindale Ave, London - Colindale London NW9 5EQ
Contract
1-month contract
Timings: Monday – Friday working hours 08:30 – 17:00
Job Description
- Tech1 is required to complete monitor refresh work at the customer site.
- Receive kit delivered to the site and move it to the storage area.
- Transport new kit around the site from the storage area to the refreshed location.
- Remove old monitors from desks
- Prepare new monitors for desks – attach to provided stands or monitor arms at the desk and attach cables
- Remove waste and transport old monitors to the allocated area for collection by Circular Services
- Provide reporting by 16:45 of how many desks/monitors refreshed that day, and report any issues on site.
Tools required:
- Screwdrivers – Phillips and flathead
- 2.5mm Allen key
