Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain the Trust's IT systems, including servers, networks, and hardware.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for staff and students.
- Oversee the installation and configuration of new hardware and software.
- Ensure the security and integrity of the Trust's IT systems.
- Develop and implement IT policies and procedures.
- Train and support junior IT staff.
- Collaborate with school leaders to identify and address IT needs.
- Stay updated with the latest technology trends and best practices in education.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven experience as an IT Technician, preferably in an educational setting.
- Strong knowledge of IT systems, networks, and hardware.
- Experience with server management and network configuration.
- Familiarity with educational software and platforms.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Relevant IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional)
