What you'll need to succeed


Job Overview:
Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior IT Technician to join their team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing the IT infrastructure, ensuring that the schools within the Trust have the technological support needed to deliver high-quality education.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and maintain the Trust's IT systems, including servers, networks, and hardware.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for staff and students.
  • Oversee the installation and configuration of new hardware and software.
  • Ensure the security and integrity of the Trust's IT systems.
  • Develop and implement IT policies and procedures.
  • Train and support junior IT staff.
  • Collaborate with school leaders to identify and address IT needs.
  • Stay updated with the latest technology trends and best practices in education.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Proven experience as an IT Technician, preferably in an educational setting.
  • Strong knowledge of IT systems, networks, and hardware.
  • Experience with server management and network configuration.
  • Familiarity with educational software and platforms.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Relevant IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional)
