Managed Services Provider requires a Service Desk Engineer.

Your new company

Service Desk Analyst – Join a Cloud-First IT Innovator

Our client is not an average managed IT services provider. Based in Mallusk, a forward-thinking, cloud-first company that’s redefining how SMEs across Northern Ireland experience IT. With a strong focus on Microsoft Azure, Intune-managed Windows 11 environments, and collaborative tools like SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams, they are leading the charge toward fully serverless infrastructures. In fact, fewer than 5 of the top 20 clients still use on-prem servers—a testament to our progressive approach.

Role – Service Desk Analyst
Our client is looking for a versatile and enthusiastic service Desk Analyst to join the growing team. This is an ideal opportunity for a graduate-level IT professional with 1–2 years of experience in a similar environment. You’ll be hands-on across a wide range of technologies and client environments, with responsibilities that include:
  • Remote Support & Management: Delivering expert phone and email support for client systems.
  • Hardware Build & Rollout: Preparing and deploying desktops, laptops, routers, switches, Wi-Fi, and cloud phone systems.
  • On-Site Client Work: Spending 10–15 hours weekly on client sites across Greater Belfast and Co. Antrim.
  • Project Involvement: Supporting Microsoft 365 migrations, server transitions, and onboarding new clients.
What You Need to Succeed
Someone who’s not just technically capable, but also curious, adaptable, and eager to grow. You’ll thrive if you have:
  • 1–2 years’ experience in a managed IT services environment.
  • Strong communication skills—both written and verbal.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Microsoft Entra ID.
  • A working knowledge of Active Directory and Microsoft 365 admin tools.
  • Confidence with scripting (PowerShell, batch files, etc.).
  • Experience with ticketing systems
  • A basic understanding of networking (VLANs, DHCP, subnets, etc.).
  • A clean driving licence and access to your own transport.
What You Will Get in Return
  • Competitive Salary: Reflective of your experience and skill-set, with regular reviews as you grow.
  • Training & Development: We invest heavily in upskilling—expect hands-on exposure to Microsoft Azure, Intune, SharePoint, and more.
  • Career Progression: As your capabilities grow, so will your responsibilities—and your salary.
  • Supportive Culture: We pride ourselves on a relaxed, collaborative environment and long-standing client relationships.
