A global market leader in the development and production of dispensing equipment is seeking a dynamic IT Business Support Engineer to join their team.

The company has recently consolidated its efforts around a major transformation program from a number of individual companies into one unified group. IT plays a central role in ensuring that IT systems and infrastructure are cohesive for the entire business and that IT becomes an enabler for the business.
Your Role
- Act as service owner for global applications.
- Engage with business units to enhance processes and IT support.
- Maintain service descriptions and support new implementations.
- Provide 2nd level support for assigned services.
- Collaborate with global teams to align IT services with business needs.
- Participate in projects to improve IT systems and processes.
- Provide software support and maintenance for local applications.
- Offer on-site hardware support, maintenance, and diagnostics for desktops, printers, telephony systems, and production machinery.
- Maintain detailed records of support requests and resolutions.
- Develop knowledge of IT systems and business processes.
- Provide technical expertise to various departments.
- Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in IT support or consulting.
- Proven 2nd level support experience for business applications.
- Experience engaging with business units to improve IT processes.
- Knowledge of hardware maintenance and diagnostics.
- Experience with telephony systems (e.g., Avaya) and thermal printing.
- Familiarity with D365 and global IT service management practices.
- Experience working with globally distributed teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
