Tech 1 Contract Role – Belfast | Leading UK Telecom Project
Join a leading Telecom Provider as a Technician 1.
Job Overview:
Seeking an on-site IT support resource to assist with laptop deployments. The role involves configuring devices, updating asset records, and supporting users during setup.
- Location: Belfast
- Contract: 2nd March’26 – 31st March’26
- Pay Rates:
- Umbrella Rate: £17.73/hour (via a Hays approved umbrella company).
- PAYE Basic Rate: £13.66/hour
- Working days: Monday – Thursday.
- Time: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Key Responsibilities:
- Installation Technicians provide desktop hardware installation services where basic technical skills are required for a service delivery solution.
- Installation Technicians will typically unbox and install the kit to the desk, connect peripherals, connect cables (eg. power and network) and perform any relevant power self-tests.
- Basic steps to start automated builds and simple scripted post-login configuration may also be required.
- Technicians may be asked to work variable shift patterns as business requires.
- This is a long-term role, 4 days per week.
