Your new role

As a Project Manager you will play a pivotal role in forecasting, planning, tracking and managing budgets, as well as reporting and liaising with Finance. You will be responsible for the successful end to end delivery of medium-large projects from project definition and set-up through all execution stages including handover to BAU support and business teams.

Responsibilities

Leadership and day to day assignment management of allocated project resources across multiple internal technology and business functions and external suppliers.

Successful application of structured project management methods within the group
delivery framework to ensure delivery to time, cost, quality and scope.

Manage supplier engagement.

Raise purchase orders and provide on-going co-ordination of the contract delivery.

Manage stakeholder expectations and communicate progress and issue resolution in line with delivery framework.

Provide coaching and mentoring as required to project teams to enable delivery.

Keep up to date with the latest delivery methods and recommend improvements that add value to delivery.

Governance and control of project delivery and input into core business governance structures to represent the project.

Adherence with change control, security and legal/compliance requirements.

Resource & Budget management and reporting for projects.

Upcoming IT projects include; Server Remediation, Cyber Security and Public Cloud Migration

Experience needed

Excellent project management skills with significant experience of leading and project managing medium sized projects in an agile environment.

Project Management expertise with a proven ability to apply a range of project management methodologies such as agile project management and scrum approaches.

Proven ability to establish credibility with stakeholders, excellent influencing skills to build and maintain relationships and work collaboratively.

A project manager with up to 10 years of experience of delivery using structured methods.

Proven ability to deliver projects requiring both technology and business change.

Business change experience.

Experienced in managing suppliers.

Experienced at managing senior stakeholders across the full range of business and technology functions including Executive level.

Proven ability to define and manage project budgets.

Confident and strong presenting skills

Business Analysis experience.

CX experience.

Project management accreditation.

Line management experience.

Experience of Agile methodologies and Dev Ops
