Your Role
As a Business Systems Engineer (IT Integration Specialist), you’ll be the technical bridge between engineering and enterprise platforms. You will:
- Administer and optimise CATIA V6 3DEXPERIENCE (including user, security, and environment management).
- Implement and maintain PLM integrations (e.g., ENOVIA) for design data governance, version control, and lifecycle management.
- Integrate CAD/PLM with ERP/MRP systems to ensure accurate BOM creation and loading.
- Support simulation and validation environments for mechanical/structural components.
- Manage core infrastructure across Windows Server 2022, VMware, Cisco networking, and SAN storage.
- Work with third‑party suppliers, own support contracts, and drive upgrades/incident resolution.
- Improve IT workflows, maintain Requests/Incidents/Problems/Knowledge records, and contribute to audits and governance.
- Champion compliance with GD&T, aerospace standards, ITIL, and ISO/IEC 20000 best practice.
What You Need to Succeed
- Degree in Computer Science/IT (or related).
- 2+ years’ experience in IT systems engineering or application support.
- Hands‑on with CATIA V5/V6, PLM (ENOVIA), and ERP/MRP integrations.
- Strong infrastructure skills: Windows Server 2022, VMware, Cisco networking, SAN storage.
- Knowledge of GD&T, aerospace manufacturing standards, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and stakeholder management.
- Ability to deliver projects from idea to implementation against agreed KPIs.
- Full driving licence and flexibility required
Desirable: CATIA application support background; ERP/MRP application support; experience in a manufacturing IT environment.
