Corporate Tax Manager or Assistant Manager job with an International tax focus, Cambridge or London
Hays are recruiting an International Tax Manager on behalf of a leading global advisory firm – London or Cambridge-based with hybrid working

About the Role
You’ll work with a diverse portfolio of UK-listed and multinational clients on high-impact projects such as:
- International tax structuring and cross-border planning
- Business reorganisations and operating model redesign
- Global expansion strategies and BEPS 2.0 implementation
- Tax controversy support and strategic policy response
Key Responsibilities
- Delivering high-quality international tax advice aligned with clients’ commercial goals
- Managing complex advisory projects including structuring, refinancing, and reorganisations
- Collaborating with global specialists across departments and jurisdictions
- Coaching junior team members and contributing to their development
- Building strong client relationships and identifying new opportunities
- Leading proposals, tenders, and client pitches
- Supporting business development alongside senior leadership
What our client is looking for
- ACA, CA, CTA, ACCA or equivalent qualifications
- Strong corporate tax and accounting knowledge
- Experience with multinational clients (preferred but not essential)
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Commercial mindset with a proactive approach to client solutions
- Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders
- Passion for continuous learning and technical excellence
