Associate - Insolvency 3-5PQE

A leading international law firm is seeking a talented and driven Associate to join its Insolvency team within the Commercial division. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on high-profile, complex matters with a clear path for career progression.

Your new role

You will be part of a dynamic and collaborative team that handles a wide range of corporate and personal insolvency matters, often with a cross-border dimension. The team is particularly known for its work on contentious insolvencies, including cases involving fraud, tax evasion, money laundering, and asset recovery.

Key responsibilities:
  • Advising on complex insolvency and restructuring matters.
  • Acting for a diverse client base including insolvency practitioners, financial institutions, government bodies, insurers, and distressed companies.
  • Managing your own caseload with appropriate supervision.
  • Supporting senior lawyers on high-value and high-profile matters.
  • Participating in business development and client relationship initiatives.

What you'll need to succeed

  • England and Wales qualified solicitor with 3–5 years PQE in insolvency law (guidelines only)
  • Strong technical knowledge of insolvency procedures and legislation.
  • Experience handling contentious insolvency matters is highly desirable.
  • Excellent organisational skills and a proactive, self-motivated approach.
  • Comfortable working in a team and independently.
  • Demonstrated interest in business development and client engagement.
