This is an opportunity for an experienced project manager to join a global organisation working on a review of their trading book. This role will initially run until May 2026 although it is part of a wider long-term program of work, so would have potential to extend beyond this.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Lead change and transformation projects in Capital Markets, focusing on regulation, risk, and controls
  • Use knowledge of markets, products, and risk (market/credit) to support initiatives
  • Build strong relationships and collaborate with stakeholders across trading, finance, risk, tech, and operations
  • Gather business requirements and work with technology teams to turn them into solutions
  • Manage risks, dependencies, and updates while keeping stakeholders informed and projects on track

Key experience and skills:
  • 5-7 years of experience as a project manager
  • Experience within a capital markets environment
  • Experience with key regulations and front-office trading environments highly desirable
  • Strong understanding of derivatives, risk, and profit & loss processes
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects and deliver strategic change in Capital Markets
  • Excellent communication skills with the confidence to influence senior stakeholders
  • Analytical mindset with problem-solving ability and several years of relevant industry experience

If successful, this role offers a highly competitive day rate with a leading employer in Northern Ireland, on a long-term contract engagement with strong potential for extension.
This position requires 3 days per week on-site in Belfast; only candidates who can meet this requirement will be considered.
