Hays are seeking a skilled plumber to start work ASAP. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out response plumbing maintenance tasks within various commercial buildings, on their own and as a part of a team.

Job Type: Temporary
Pay: Up to £21 p/hr
Please note, the only pay methods are PAYE or Umbrella. We do not pay CIS.

Responsibilities

• Reactive and planned plumbing works and building maintenance
• Undertake preventive work.
• Tasks could include bathroom/ kitchen repairs, addressing leaks, burst pipes, etc.

• Qualification in Plumbing, NVQ level 2 or Equivalent.
• Relevant time served experience, with references. Experience in a similar role would be beneficial.
• Smartphone/tablet literate is desirable
• Demonstrate literacy and numeracy skills to an appropriate standard.

• Good interpersonal skills
• Ability to adapt to organisational change if required
• Use your own initiative, either in a team or alone, to conduct tasks delegated by the Line Manager
• Able to work under pressure and manage conflicting demands
• To be adaptable, conscientious and to be a good team member
• Demonstrate a commitment to high service delivery
