Head of Sales, £60,000 (£90,000 OTE), Borehamwood, Car Finance, Immediate Start!
Our client, a leading Car Finance Brokerage whom have grown exponentially in the 8 years they have been established, are looking to recruit an experienced, driven, hands-on Sales Manager to oversee their outbound telephony operation. Working in a fantastic new office with a fun, sociable culture, this is an amazing opportunity for the right candidate!
Our client offer a bespoke approach to their client base and boast over 30 Sales FTE, all dedicated to making it as easy as possible for their customers to finance a new vehicle. The company invest an incredible amount of money into marketing to ensure the team work solely on warm leads (absolutely no cold-calling), and each team member offers a very consultative sales approach, from initial application right through to car collection. Due to their growth and plans to scale further, they are actively seeking the perfect candidate to come and join them in a Head of Sales capacity, with the complete autonomy to structure the team as they see fit (to enable future growth). In a nutshell, your responsibilities will include:
- Leading and inspiring a team of 30+ Sales FTE (outbound B2C Telesales)
- Coaching/developing/nurturing team members to exceed sales/revenue expectations
- Harnessing a very fun, sociable culture to ensure engagement and retention of staff
- Conducting regular performance reviews/appraisals to improve each individual Agent
- Utilising data available (call metrics, etc) to make well-informed, strategic decisions
- Creating a high-performance culture through the celebration of great results/performance
In order to be considered for this position, it is ESSENTIAL that you have the following:
- Experience of leading an office-based Sales team of 30+ FTE
- Experience of scaling team(s) (there are immediate plans to grow team to 50 FTE across the next 6 months)
- Proven track record of inspiring fantastic sales performance through leadership style
- 'Hands-on' approach to leadership - willingnness to be on the sales floor and in the detail day-to-day
- Proactive approach to work - utilising data to make decisions/changes before being asked to look into things, etc
- Fun, sociable personality!
In addition to a very competitive basic salary of £60,000, our client are also offering the following:
- £90,000 OTE (expected monthly commission: £2,500 on top of base salary)
- Growth potential - genuine plans to scale team significantly across the next 6 months, and beyond
- Full autonomy on sales structure (hierarchy/strategy, etc)
- Great working hours (Monday - Friday: 9.00am - 6.00pm)
