HR Manager Chester

Position: HR Manager
Location: Chester (Hybrid Working)
Salary: Up to £50,000 per annum

About the Role:

We are collaborating with a distinguished organisation based in Chester, seeking a seasoned and dynamic HR Manager to join their team. In this role, you will be instrumental in fostering employee development and maintaining a positive work environment. As a leader in their industry, they are renowned for their innovative solutions and commitment to excellence.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic HR Management:
    Formulate and implement HR strategies that align with the overall business objectives.
  • Employee Relations:
    Handle complex employee relations issues, offering guidance and support to both managers and employees.
  • Recruitment and Talent Management:
    Manage the recruitment process to attract and retain top talent. Develop strategies to support employee growth and retention.
  • Policy and Procedure Development: Create and update HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with current legislation and best practices.
  • Performance Management: Lead the performance management process, including setting objectives, conducting appraisals, and providing feedback.
  • Training and Development: Identify training needs and coordinate professional development programs to enhance employee skills and career progression.
  • Compensation and Benefits: Oversee compensation and benefits programs, ensuring they are competitive and aligned with industry standards.
  • HR Administration: Manage HR administrative tasks, including maintaining employee records and preparing HR reports.
  • Employee Engagement: Develop and implement initiatives to foster a positive workplace culture and enhance employee engagement.

Desired Qualifications/Experience:

  • Proven experience as an HR Manager or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and employment laws.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
  • Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
