HR Manager, 14-15 Month FTC, Investment Management, London, 70K

Your new company

A UK-based purpose-driven investment management firm are looking for an HR Manager to be based in their London office for a 14-15 month period. Reporting into the CPO and overseeing an HR Officer and Assistant, you will:

  • Act as a trusted business partner, ensuring HR processes across the employee lifecycle are efficient, compliant, and aligned with best practice.
  • Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations, maintaining strong agency partnerships and up-to-date employment documentation.
  • Manage employee relations cases, including grievances, disciplinaries, and performance/absence management.
  • Support the Chief People Officer in managing the HR team’s day-to-day operations and contribute to the delivery of the wider HR and business strategy.
  • Lead on HR reporting, policy development, and compliance with employment law and regulatory standards.
  • Coordinate learning and development initiatives, annual training programmes, and performance management support.
  • Provide cover for payroll administration and assist with reward processes including salary reviews and benchmarking.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Experience as an HR Manager within Financial Services is essential, ideally within Asset/Wealth Management.

  • Proven experience across the operational and strategic side of HR, with strong knowledge of ER management and comp/benefits reviews.

  • Ability to collaborate with the team and advise stakeholders on any employee issues, suggesting and implementing ideas for process and policy improvement.
