About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced and proactive HR Manager to join our clients team on a part‑time basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a varied generalist role and enjoys shaping a positive employee experience. You’ll be part of the SLT and play a key part in developing our people strategy, supporting managers, and ensuring our HR processes run smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the first point of contact for all HR queries, offering clear and practical advice.
- Manage the full employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding to development, performance, and offboarding.
- Support managers with employee relations, absence management, and performance issues.
- Maintain and improve HR policies, ensuring compliance with legislation and best practice.
- Lead on HR projects such as employee engagement, wellbeing initiatives, and learning & development.
- Provide insightful HR reporting to support decision-making.
We’d love to hear from you if you have:
- Proven experience in an HR Manager or senior HR generalist role from a manufacturing or similar environment.
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law.
- Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
- A hands‑on, solutions‑focused approach.
- CIPD qualification (Level 5 or above desirable).
- The ability to work independently and balance a varied workload across three/four days.
