Your New Role:
We’re looking for a hands-on and proactive HR Manager to join our client, a growing SME manufacturing business. Based on-site, you’ll play a key role in aligning their people strategy, supporting operational leaders, and driving a positive workplace culture. You will take ownership of all HR activities, including shaping the service that HR delivers to the wider business, ensuring both best practice and legal compliance. As the first dedicated HR Manager for the site, this is a great opportunity to make a true impact.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead all HR activities across the site, acting as a trusted advisor to managers and employees
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures tailored to a manufacturing setting
- Guide managers to handle employee relations, absence management, and disciplinary processes with professionalism and care
- Support training and development initiatives to upskill and retain talent
- Ensure compliance with employment legislation and company standards
What you will need to succeed:
- Previous experience in an HR Management role within a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Strong working knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices
- Confident communicator with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels
- You will have a collaborative approach, able to provide advice and guidance to managers to help drive best practice
- Comfortable working independently and making decisions in a fast-moving setting
- CIPD qualified (Level 5 or above preferred) – or relevant experience
