Your new role
Reporting to the Head of HR, working in a team of 4, and managing 3 HR Assistants, you will have the opportunity to shape and develop the HR service and team to enable the organisation’s growth via the HR strategy and goals.
Reporting to the Head of HR, working in a team of 4, and managing 3 HR Assistants, you will have the opportunity to shape and develop the HR service and team to enable the organisation’s growth via the HR strategy and goals.
As well as the full remit of HR generalist duties (including Recruitment, Onboarding, Induction, HR advice/guidance, Employee Relations, stake holder management, etc) – you will assist the Head of HR with a full HR service review and improvement project.
These projects will be around:
- a HR system implementation, including the development & usage of data reports
- HR process improvements
- Policy & procedure updates
- Compliance
- Recruitment & Retention strategies
- Induction improvement
- Salary and Benefits benchmarking and initiatives
- Staff Engagement
Also you will be responsible for a brand new project to develop the staff development / L&D offering. You will have autonomy to scope out this project and make recommendations and the follow through with the roll out and management of the L&D offering.
This is an excellent career opportunity for a Senior/HR Generalist to step into a management role;

What you'll need to succeed
An experienced HR Professional at Senior HR Generalist or Manager level with:
- Ideally, you will be minimum CIPD Level 5 Qualified with CIPD Membership ( or working towards this or demonstrate suitable equivalent level of experience).
- Experience of HR start up or review/improvements
- Some staff development / management experience
- Full generalist HR remit/experience
- HR project work
- Experience of / or keen interest in L&D / staff development
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills.
