Interim HR & Talent Manager | 3-4 Month FTC | £50,000 | Remote (Warrington)

Your New Organisation

A charitable organisation committed to advancing training and education in various technical fields, currently seeking an experienced HR & Talent Manager (HR Generalist) to join their business on a contract basis, to oversee the HR function in a period of transition (circa 100 staff).

This is a 3-month remote contract ideal for someone who enjoys variety, and is confident juggling senior level recruitment, HR operations and strategy, and system implementation.

Your New Role

As HR & Talent Manager, you will support in a generalist capacity across the full HR life cycle, both operationally and strategically. Your responsibilities will include:

HR Strategy, Operations & Support
  • Provide general HR advice and support across the organisation, up to director level.
  • Analyse the current HR landscape and provide an overview of business needs.
  • Maintain business-as-usual HR operations during a period of transition.
  • Coaching & Training Managers.
  • Wellbeing & EDI Lead.
  • Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion across all HR practices.
Recruitment
  • Support with active recruitment campaigns.
  • Screen candidates, conduct interviews, and make offers.
  • Headhunt for key senior roles.

HR Systems Implementation (Experience Desirable)
  • Support the implementation of the Sage HR system, going live in
    early July.

What You Will Need to Succeed

  • Proven experience operating at a senior level in a busy HR team, preferably within an SME.
  • Confident in managing recruitment campaigns end-to-end, including senior level headhunting.
  • Strong generalist HR knowledge and ability to provide sound advice.
  • Experience implementing HR systems (Desirable).
  • Available to start quickly and hit the ground running.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices.
  • CIPD qualified (Level 5 or above) or equivalent experience.
