HR Manager
To work in partnership with leaders and key stakeholders to shape, develop, and deliver HR plans and solutions aligned with the strategic needs and priorities of the business. Operating as an HR expert, the role provides professional advice, guidance, and support to managers and staff across a broad range of HR matters.

Key Responsibilities
HR Advisory & Case Management
  • Provide expert HR advice and guidance to managers and staff on a wide range of HR issues.
  • Support managers in handling complex casework including performance management, attendance, and employee relations.

Strategic HR Support
  • Influence and support leadership in driving the people agenda to enhance service performance.
  • Translate business requirements into effective HR practices and deliver people solutions aligned with business objectives.

HR Projects & Initiatives
Lead and deliver key HR initiatives across the employee lifecycle, including workforce planning, organisational restructuring, and change management.

Data & Insights
Analyse and report on HR metrics to support benchmarking and inform the development of HR strategies and solutions.

Policy & Compliance
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
  • Develop and review HR policies to ensure compliance with legislation and alignment with organisational goals.

Reward & Recognition
Support the development and implementation of pay and reward strategies that attract, retain, and motivate employees.

Recruitment
Support with writing job descriptions, advertising roles and conducting initial interviews.


Skills & Experience Required
  • Proven experience in a generalist HR role, ideally within a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills with the ability to build effective relationships at all levels.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret HR data and provide actionable insights.
  • Experience in managing change and delivering HR projects.
  • CIPD qualification or equivalent experience is desirable.
