Temporary ER Advisor

I am currently recruiting for two experienced HR Advisors (ER Advisors) to join my client's team on a 4-month temporary basis, providing expert support across a wide range of Employee Relations matters.

This is an excellent opportunity for HR professionals with strong ER experience who can confidently manage complex casework and provide pragmatic, commercially focused advice in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include;
  • Provide end-to-end support in a variety of Employee Relations cases, including: disciplinary, grievance, performance management, sickness absence.
  • Manage complex ER issues with a practical, solution-focused approach
  • Support managers with guidance aligned to employment law and HR best practice
  • Assist in the preparation of Employment Tribunal (ET) claims
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders, offering clear and professional advice
  • Ensure all cases are handled consistently, fairly, and in line with company policies
You need to be able to demonstrate experience in the following:

  • Strong experience in an HR/Employee Relations Advisor role
  • Proven track record of managing a wide range of ER cases independently
  • CIPD qualification (Level 5 or above preferred) or equivalent experience
  • Strong working knowledge of Employment Law & HR best practice
  • A pragmatic and commercially aware approach to problem-solving
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong relationship-building and influencing skills
  • High levels of professionalism, sensitivity, and discretion
  • Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to adapt your communication style to different audiences
  • Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office
